Bothell United Women In Faith
Bothell United Women In Faith, is part of an international sisterhood acting in faith to tackle the hard work of the world without hesitation.
Driven by God’s love and united in sisterhood, we work to improve the lives of women, children and youth. Every day, we show up. We take action. We get it done. And we invite you to join us.
We are inspired by our international and national group’s mission, vision, and action.
Locally, we support these women/youth/children ministries:

RUMMAGE SALE
August 14-15
Bothell United Women in Faith will host its annual rummage sale this August in Fellowship Hall. Proceeds benefit programs for women, children, and youth. Donations can be brought to the church beginning August 11.
Acceptable donations include dishes, glassware, knick-knacks, pots, pans, books, seasonal decorations, toys, games, and small working appliances. Please no electronics, furniture, or large sports equipment.
Soft goods will also be collected in partnership with Mission EDU Senegal to provide “Equal Chances” for students at Imam Public Schools in Dakar, Senegal. Useable or unusable bedding, linens, clothing, shoes, purses — anything soft can be placed in large garbage bags, securely tied, and brought to the church the week of the sale.
Success of the sale depends on volunteers for table set-up, donation sorting, during the sale, and clean up. Contact Barb Donovan if you will help, and for more information.
DOLL MINISTRY 2026
It was wonderful to see so much interest in the Doll Ministry at the recent ministry fairs and spring tea!
Many volunteers are already hard at work creating doll and cradle sets to be distributed for Christmas to Atlantic Street Center, Mary’s Place, New Ground Bothell, Lake Washington Safe Parking Program, and the Resource Center at Riverton Park.
Everyone is welcome to participate—whether by dressing a doll, contributing supplies, or helping in other ways, there are many opportunities to get involved:
• Sew, knit, or crochet doll outfits • Make doll blankets (quilted, knitted, crocheted, fleece, etc.) • Build wooden cradles • Shop for doll accessories (bottles, rattles, etc.) • Donate wrapping supplies • Help package the dolls • Pray for the children who will receive them and for this ministry.
Dolls are available in the church library, as well as patterns for sewing, knitting, and crocheting.
We are grateful for the generosity and support this ministry has received over the years. Together, we look forward to another season of sharing comfort, love, and joy with children in our community!
Invite friends, family members, or neighbors who might enjoy participating! For more information about the dolls and this ministry, contact Mary Jane Lohr, Leslie Hayton, or Kathy Lawson. For more information about helping with cradles, contact Gary Stueckle.
