MORE THAN A BUILDING
Protecting Our Church. Powering Our Future.
Bothell United Methodist Church is investing in a stronger, more sustainable future—one that protects our facilities, reduces long-term costs, and expands our ability to serve our community.
The Opportunity
We are addressing two critical needs:
Replacing an aging roof section (Fellowship Hall)
Installing a solar energy system to power our future
Simple Truth:
This project pays for itself in approximately 6–8 years—and then supports ministry for decades.
Why This Matters
This initiative allows us to:
Protect and preserve our church facilities
Reduce long-term operating expenses
Generate 25–30 years of clean energy
Redirect savings into ministry and outreach
Demonstrate faithful stewardship of our resources and environment
Beyond our walls, this also supports:
Bothell Community Kitchen programs
AA/NA meetings and local support groups
Greater local energy resilience
